  Instrument Classes and Music Theory
Our Teaching staff are highly experienced profesionals in their respective instrumental fields. Being passionately dedicated and committed to their teaching, they are able to nurture students in a joyful and enjoyable learning environment.
 
We also offer courses to students who would like to learn an instrument without going for Music Examinations An introduction to the various instruments is provided below.

   Piano
    Violin

The piano (abbreviation for piano forte) is an instrument with a keyboard, which activates a series of hammers to strike on strings stretched on a frame.  

 

The smallest of the string instruments, with the highest pitch.  It is tucked under the chin and played with a bow drawn across the strings. 

  Cello     Guitar

An instrument with a big, beautiful and mellow sound.  The cello is played in an upright position with the seated player drawing a bow across the strings. Well known cellists include Mstislav Rostroprovich,  Jacqueline Du Pre,  Yo-yo Ma. 

 

A 6-stringed instrument played with the finger (or a plectrum). We offer classical guitar lessons

  Music Theory    

Every musician needs to have some foundation in music theory.  These include note reading, chords, scales, keys, and much more. Understanding basic theory will help in learning, remembering and appreciating music.
